WHY THE GARLIC PRESS IS BETTER

More Force with Less Effort

The double-lever assisted construction lets you mince a ton of garlic with little effort. The high capacity garlic reservoir accommodates multiple cloves at once, giving you more garlic than you probably need.

Extra Wide Handles

More stable and way more comfortable. The greater surface area enables you to apply more force comfortably so the only thing that will be screaming in pain…is the garlic.

Revolutionary Flip-Open Cup-Less Design

The cup-less design swings wide open for easy cleaning and less waste. No more giving up on scratching out the final pieces with your fingernails and smelling like garlic for weeks to come. The open design also makes cleaning the press easy, but if you’re feeling lazy it’s dishwasher safe.

    Goodbye Zyliss

It only took s few months before I lost the cleaning tool for my old Zyliss garlic press and since then I've had to use whatever was at hand - an old toothbrush, the point of a paring knife - to clean it out. No more. This press is as easy to clean out as it is to use. And no cleaning tool to lose.

Best garlic press and pepper grinder

I have purchased six garlic presses and six pepper cannons over the past three years. They are the best tools I have ever owned. I love them so much when my wife and I travel and stay with people who are foodies we give them one pepper Canon and one garlic press as I know, they will enjoy them as much as we do. Unfortunately, for the company who manufactures them, though it is the last one they will ever have to buy!

    Fantastic

This is by far the best garlic press ever! It is so easy to use. Clean up is a snap as it goes right into the dishwasher. I am a professional chef and this tool has made my job easier! I’ve had garlic presses before but none compare to this one! Great kitchen tool!

I wanted to like it, but it bit me!

After loving the pepper cannon, I figured I'd see if the design of this garlic press was similarly inspired. It was not. Mind you, I like the lever action which gives plenty of squeezing pressure. I like the swing-out design of the ricing plate (once you adjust to the technique of keeping your thumb on it when loading). But what I really DON'T like is that this sucker is a serious PINCH hazard. Within a few squeezes I pinched myself good the first time - getting the web between my index finger and thumb nicely pinched between the U-shaped handles. And, while I do it less now that I'm aware of the issue, it still gets me now and then - especially when pressing a lot of garlic, and the handles get slippery (as stainless steel will). You can see the clearance between the opposing handles at the "hand" edge is quite narrow - and when you are using your hand to squeeze, if you've got a reasonably meaty hand as I do, it WILL pinch you good. A more rounded set of handles or some rubber grips would have avoided this. Perhaps the next iteration.
