I purchased this garlic press from a popular online retailer but unfortunately, only a couple of weeks after a rivet had failed and the press became useless. Although I was still within the return window, it was out of stock with both retailer and this website. I emailed Mannkitchen about the problem and promptly received a response with both an apology and a promise to ship a new one once stock was available. The timeframe was rather long so I purchased another press that has a very similar design made by the company K R, however the function of the KR press was far inferior. The holes on the Mannkitchen are larger and allow for a true mince. The smaller holes on the KR basically just mashed the garlic. Patience eventually paid off and Mannkitchen made good on their promise and replaced my garlic press and now I am able to happily mince my garlic.
