I decided to buy this stainless steel spatula since I own two cast iron skillets to improve my cooking experience and ditch the plastic ones. I really appreciate the industrial design for its old school sensibilities with a wooden handle that matches the old kitchen knives I grew up with. The heft and weight was perfect which allowed me to scrape any remains on the skillets and resistant enough to handle the heat. And I recently just ordered a smaller version of this that way I can multi-task or use a specific one for any situation. This spatula will last me a lifetime without needing to go for cheap plastics.
